I would hope that no one would actually turn on Madden rewind against anybody but the computer. Because sometimes, there are just those freak occurrences (so characteristic of a video game) that you need do-overs for.
Again, can you go into options, turn off the Adaptive AI and set the difficulty to say All Pro and try that for a game or two and see if you feel any differently?
Madden not being that awesome is not something new. At least it will probably only be another 24 years until another studio gets to take a crack at creating an NFL game.
What's everybody else who's played this take on the adaptive AI?

Thus far most people agree with you Brad and have turned off the adaptive difficulty.
Still it does a lot of things right, I've been knee deep in practice for awhle now since I've never played a Madden game.

i just played my first game with 8 min quarters and i didn't throw any int's. the cpu threw 3. what team are you using?
@ cronosblade: What happens when you set the level instead of using the adaptive AI is that it's either too easy at one level or too hard at the next one up. It's like being between sizes in clothes...or is that just a girl thing? Anyway...it's great to not have any interceptions and score 40 points, but that's really no more fun than throwing 12 interceptions in one game. I was hoping the adaptive AI would help out those in-betweeners like me...and it has against real people so far. Maybe that's because my Madden IQ was pretty low (darn defense).
