We are born into this world bucknekkid. We are confronted with nudity, in one form or another, on a daily basis. Early Renaissance Artists, like Donatello, "studied under both Ghiberti and Brunelleschi, and went on to create several masterpieces for Cosimo de Medici in Florence. His most important work is the David, which depicts the Hebrew king in the classical style of a Greek god, and was the first freestanding nude figure sculpted since the Roman era. Donatello went on to create the first bronze statue of the Renaissance, showing an incredibly realistic soldier on horseback."
Yet in 2007 we find our gaming news and media on violence in a pc game. Not to kill the ManHunt2 band wagon but this reminds me of the Hot Coffee Mod that got out of hand. With the recent article on
Yahoo stating that Video Games is just another form of a addiction.
So in my opening statement my point was our history has been Art, Sex, Violence and War. Nothing has changed except the fact I don't see statues of nude people.
The video game industry is at all time high. The technology for making a game is at its best to say the least. With the ESRB who I want to support labels a game out of pressure to do so is loosing some major respect.
For those who watched the last episode of Sopranos and support the AO you are hypocrites in my opinion... Let the flame wars begin!
