Pop a PS2 game in your PS3 and feel the power. The controller with the "last gen" feature is here to support your last gen games. Imagine... popping in a game like god of war.... the first time you rip a head off, your controller rumbles! WOW! AMAZING!

Thats right, the PS3 firmware 2.0 update quietly brings us rumble support for our old games (if you even have a backwards compatible console).

Does anyone else find this funny? Sony bad mouthed the rumble feature so much, and now it seems it is a big priority to them. I feel like they are just a big mess right now.

Wow... Sony made a decision that MAKES SENSE? WTF???

Honestly I just assumed this was a given. Why would Sony (or anybody for that matter) create a controller that has a rumble function and not have it work with games that were designed with such controllers in mind.

even funnier Sony don't want us to play PS2 games on the PS3 they want us to buy a non-backwards compatible PS3 and a transformer inside PS2. At first it seems like smart thinking, but then more like a rogue element at sony not towing the WTF line.
