I swear to god, I could care less about the poor Nintendo press conference right now. I was scrolling through GoNintendo and found the article on a
supposed next Golden Sun. RawMeatCowboy got an email about it last night, but he didn't say who it was from or anything, so I don't know how credible this is. I'm not ready to shit my pants yet (seeing as it's the possible sequel to my ultimate favorite series EVER), but if it gets announced, I'm going to scream, and at least TRY to shit mypants, just to say I actually did it. I also saw in the comments someone talking about Matt Casamassina's mention of a revived franchise. To be precise, he says "there's a game that you think is long gone, but it's not." Please be real. Please be real. Please be real.

This was also in the GoNintendo Post:
- You control Felix
- The story seems like a continuation of ‘The Lost Age’ (although I only sampled a very small section)
- The story and text were the first things completed on the game as the developers wanted a strong story
- Touch screen controls (similar to Animal Crossing / Zelda DS)
- Touch screen psynergy
- pseudo-3D graphics (very similar look to the GBA games however some elements of 3D)
But those Golden Sun DS pics look pretty official. Here I thought it was coming to the Wii but I would have NO problem getting it for DS.
Of course, I never liked Golden Sun anyway, so I wouldn't really get hopeful about the prospects...
Unfortunately, I'm not sure at all about this game's legitimacy. This screenshot, upon first glance, made me happier than any bit of gaming news I've received since the first Twilight Princess trailer in 2004. I was unbelievably sobered when talk of being false began.
