Everyone in last month's challenge did an excellent job. As I write this on the 31st, 3 people completed the challenge completely, with EternalDarkWing nabbing 1st by a slim single point. Congrats dude. I'll have adjusted scoring up later in the month after I run tallies on everyone. As for right now, entries into the contest are closed. If you joined, you're in for the long haul. If you didn't, tough break kid, but you get to watch from the sidelines and enjoy the carnage. This month is gonna be brutal. It's down right evil, and I won't even say why. It'll be like the magical talisman that reveals itself slowly over time to be the most maddening and evil twist conceived.

This month's challenge is titled:

Let me elaborate. August has 31 days. You're going to have one day to plan for this. ONE. From August 2nd until August 31st, you have to unlock TWO achievements every day. TWO brand new achievements every day. Do so, and you'll get 2 points for your score for each day that you complete. Miss a day? 4 points deducted from your CUMULATIVE SCORE for each day you miss.


Yeaahhhh, I'm gonna have to have you unlock that again, you forgot to unlock it with the new TPS report cover attached...

Okay, now some guidelines. All your achievements must be unlocked from your current game selection. No new games, no new gamefly rentals, no Summer of Arcade to make things easier. If you have a new game you want, go get it today, because if you play it during the contest, it won't count towards your score. The caveat for this is if your total games played (not owned currently) is under 10, you can go rent, purchase, or download games to meet this amount. I figured owning 10 games would be a nice round amount to start off with to collect these 60 achievements from.

You MUST be online, logged into Xbox Live, so the achievements can be dated to be counted. To make things easier for me, and for the sake of proving you deserve the points you fight for, you might consider signing up for a blog on http://www.360voice.com. The blog will handle your proof of achievements by blogging your daily play activities, and will show that you did in fact earn those points you demand I give you. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILTY TO MAKE SURE ALL YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS ARE DATED SO THEY CAN BE COUNTED.

The last rule, you are allowed 1 day without penalty, you will accrue no score, but you MUST EMAIL ME THAT DAY to avoid the penalty.

Lemon is involved in this contest and he has been given special dispensation for not being penalized under this guideline since he is out of the country for two weeks. If you have some major emergency (cat cancer, your country lost power, they're shooting Batmeng 3 in your yard) you can also make use of this rule, but it WILL NOT BE PERMISSIBLE FOR RANDOM DAYS OR FOR PAX.

Look at this as an opportunity to go get some achievements in some old games you were looking to finish but never did.
