Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
And I say that as a Nintendo fanboy, who is going to play and love Brawl as soon as my copy arrives regardless of what the fuck anyone else thinks.
Also nice to have reassurance that Gerstmanngate is STILL funny.
from now on his hate mail is going to be on purpose, in hopes to get on another stupid one of these videos.
I personally don't think he should have made this video.
I could use a grammar Nazi this time of the semester.
"Nintendo Made it so that the players could have fun mercilessly beating the ever-loving crap out of most hated characters, Like the Ice Climbers."
Now i ask, Who the fuck ever has the mentality of playing brawl...Just because "they" hated two characters of the Mes era and all they want to do is beat the shit out of that spesicfic one...
Is that what the letter meant cause i'm confused now lol
I didn't agree with his opinions on SSBB either, but I wouldn't send him angry e-mails over it. The only thing I was genuinely pissed about was that he complained about a detail regarding unlocking characters that really wasn't true at all. But if he didn't like anything else in the game, pointing out something like that wasn't going to change his overall impression of Brawl.
He is right though, a lot of people don't understand that one person hating your favorite game doesn't affect it in any way, I love a lot of games 90% of people hate, I don't give a shit, I enjoy the game just the same.
