So awhile back (over a month ago) I did a little post on a game that would be perfect for the Wii Zapper/Blaster. Saddly it doesn't look like many people read it. But
here it is to give you a refreser.
If you are too lazy to look. The game is
Ghost Squad. Just like
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, this game is a on-rail shooter/light gun game. But is is more of a light gun game, so much that it is actually in the arcades right now (the arcade is pretty sweet, it was fun to play).
It is a sweet set up...but anyways moving on. I came across in article talking about the hands on for this game. And in the game you don't have to use the Nunchuck so they tested it see if it was better with or without the attachment. What was the verdict?
"
Ghost Squad is a game you are going to want to play with the Wii Zapper. While you don’t need to the nunchuck to move around like in Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles the shell makes it much easier to aim. I found when I was playing with the remote alone I had to use my left hand to hold my right hand and steady my shot. During sniper sections you can only shoot one shot at a time and the Wii Zapper shell gives you an edge here."
Mmmm, I sure like to snipe. I can't wait and this for sure confirms, I will buy the Wii Zapper.
Also if you aren't 100% interested in this game, my blog I posted the link to has some details on the game...how it is co-op and up to four-player multiplayer modes. Granted you don't need four zappers, but whoever does have them will have the easiest time aiming it sounds like.
So what do you think? A little more receptive to the Zapper? I think it is just a matter of what games you use it for. Right now there are three (Umbrella Chronicles, this one, and Medal of Honor) and this would probably make more light gun games easier since you can stabilize it...and it just looks like tons of fun to use!
Yes, I am excite!
