So a new movie has been in the talks for awhile and in production. The first trailer has been released recently and it is not too bad.

I Am Legend

Right now there are few attached but mainly it has Will Smith as Robert Neville (main character).


This is the plot...

In the movie, Robert Neville is left on New York island after an evacuation. His wife and child ran got on the boats to leave but he was left with his dog. Well eventually everyone else on New York seems to die cause in the trailer no one is around. Except there is something else on the island and perhaps more survirors.

*SPOILER possible (depending how they follow the book):*

Neville is immune to this "disease" that has similar effects as vampires and the other survivors found a way to fight it off. So yes, it is a VAMPIRE MOVIE.

This movie for some reason reminds me of iRobot cause the book was all about philosophy and what it means to be a man and this book, I am Legend, is about the inner turmoil Neville goes through with being alone in New York for so long and the "something else" out there.

There were rumors of Johnny Depp being in this film but I think that has been laid to rest thankfully, meaning NO.
