The greatest water slide ever!

Not only is it the greatest but it is the most unique. In the fact that you start in a standing position instead of lying down. Oh, and there is also a loop. Let me repeat that, a loop on a water slide! Can it be anymore epic? Watch the video, but beware cause there are some mankini's. At least there is the cool slide and a regular bikini!

I can't get over how much I want to try that out. Darn Germans and their faraway slides of funness! Someone fly me out to Germany, stat.

I love water slides dude. We've got a couple of great ones in The Netherlands. Some of 'em will rip your shorts off (and the skin off your back but they didn't tell me beforehand).

That's so cool. I'm a little behind on my German, though... did they mention how that actually works? There's no way it's just gravity is there? Do they use water jets or something to push you around the loop or something?

Either way, that looks like epic fun.

They have a ride like that at Hurricane Harbor in Arlington, Tx called The Bombay. It's shaped like a rocketship and the trap door opens. It doesnt have a loop though.

I heard about someone there that got their swimsuit caught or cut there leg on something when the trapdoor opened. Yikes. Might be an urban legend though.

Yeah, all I can think about is shoddy American construction (not all is, but theme parks tend to be fairly shoddy) and the luck I'd have of going on that and getting my back and legs torn up or ending up at the end with a shredded swim suit.

I'm trying to wrap my head around the physics involved. I mean, you'd have to be a minimum weight/height right? If a little kid went down, I feel like they wouldn't have enough momentum to make it around the loop.
