Tetris has always been a favorite of most gamers and non gamers. It has come in many iterations and forms but there is one version most probably haven't played and that is the board game version. And yes it does exist. I know this not by just looking online but cause it is sitting in my room as we speak.
To play, you set up these boards and there is a box of tiles, and you randomly take one and put them on your board face up. The object is to fill up your board completely and the person with the least amount of cracks or holes wins? Well that is what I assume is the directions since I lost them. But it sounds right with what is on the back...
It is for up 2-to-4 players and, well it could be a fun drunk game? Something? The insides look like this...
That is the board on the lower right and where you put the pieces. and then the container of shapes of the Tetris variety. There is no time, you just take turns taking pieces. I want to say there is more to it but I have yet to find it.
But regardless, it is stupid fun. And if you are interested in the game, feel free to come to the
MD/DC/VA NARP this weekend at Hitogoroshi's place for epic times and Tetris action!
...Missing most of the pieces and marbles of course...
I have this one at home. It's amusing, and even plays the Tetris theme for you while you're playing.
At least that includes Marble Madness?
FUN, FUN, FUNNNNNNNNN!
