Donkey Kong



It is music, duh. DK remix which is interesting and at times pretty sweetness. I must say I really dug that bass line they threw in near the end. It is nice to hear a variety of music.

Listen to it during the NEXT update, trust me, you will need it.






Widescreen Support

No, that isn't a bad thing at all. It is good that this game supports this as well as the tradition size 4:3.

Nice, huh? They even mention that the "KO" barrier just off the screen remains in the same space, duh. What's so stupid about that? Well what happens next is the failure. I have to quote this I feel...

But some people may not know if they have a normal TV or widescreen TV, and may not even know what difficult terminology like 4:3 or 16:9 means. Right? Who knows all that stuff?

Who knows it? Anyone who isn't an imbecile? I mean c'mon, an update that the majority of it was focused on the idea that video gamers can't tell the difference betwee a rectangle and a square. And yes, I know 4:3 means it is a rectangle but when you look at a standard tv, do you think of square or rectangle? This reeks of L7ness.

Well regardless they go on to show you how you can change the display AND tell if you have a widescreen and the picture settings are right.
**hint - look to see if anything is disproportionate (ie: taller/skinner or shorter/fatter than usual)**

Huge? I'll say! I mean why bother knowing what type of TV you have and actually looking at the television when you can look at an image that probably takes you 5+ minutes to get to. Shouldn't you already have your Wii set up to do 16:9 in the Wii Menu if you have a widescreen by now?

I am not sure if these people should be allowed to have video games, unless you are mentally challenged and I apologize. It is never cool to make fun of those types of people.

Hmm, and Wide and Full tv settings? Apparently the Dojo thinks if you set your Widescreen TV to full, "there is a chance" the image MAY be shifted towards the center. May? Oooo, the suspense is killing me ... along with this update.


Yes, as you can all tell I am not too pleased with this and how things are going. If it doesn't shape up soon I will be forced to change or end this contest. I am sorry but just like many others have voiced, it is no fun to just "guess" Game Mode every day.
