It is about time. I mean realy!Don't all the other main characters have their stages? Why diss the Samus Aran? At least they didn't do a copy pasta!

Ridley's level never look so pretty! Yes the lava rises and lowers just like before.
This time, the lava comes from more than just the ground. And no it is not stupid ways the lava appears either!
Ooo, I like that look of that lava wave. And yes it does come at you. So how do you not get hit/hurt from it?
Let the battle begin for the hatch!
If you are not able to get into the hatch, it is said you can BARELY escape the wave with a "great jump" but that is difficult and I don't think you are up to the challenge. But do you have the guts, strength and determination to get me and my baby out of the hatch?
Do you think you have to shoot/hit the doors to open them?
I can't believe they took so long to introduce thoe infamous doors into a Metroid level. I mean who doesn't know about those doors and think Metroid? Anyways about the level, I am slightly disappointed. No Ridley appearance? I'd hate to jump to conclusions and say "HE IS A TROPHY" but at least I KNOW he is NOT a character! No way...
I agree with you on the doors. What took so long? This level looks pretty sweet if not a bit small.
And screw you guys. Ridley has to be a playable character. He friggin' has to! I'm going to be so fucking pissed off if he isn't.
the doors won't open right away in prime because the game is loading.
And i actually think this level is more simplistic than the melee version. Sure it looks nicer and they added that chanber, but look at the platforms. No little organisms holding pieces of the level together which gave you options to change the levels platforms around a bit. I loved that in melee.
God, that's like the only problem with the Metroid Prime series. The fucking doors don't open! Infuriating!!
Explain to me when you expect the game to load. Retro uses the (rare) slowly opening door to hide the (minuscule) load times in the Metroid Prime games, and people who complain about their use deserve actual loading screens.
@ B-Radicate:
I don't want Ridley to be playable. How much bigger is Ridley than Samus in the Metroid games? I don't want them to shrink Ridley to keep the game balanced, but a Assist Trophy would be perfect. It would be nice if he was built into the a stage, but like I said an Assist Trophy would be fine. Upon thinking about a stage where Ridley could pop out every once in awhile and grab fools, I also considered a stage that would focus on another Metroid boss, Kraid. That would be awesome too :)
ZSS transforms back into Regular Samus with a Final Smash. Therefore, Samus pays a price to transform back and forth, unlike Zelda/Shiek from Melee. I seriously doubt that Samus will be able to start a game as ZSS like Zelda could begin as Shiek in Melee. There is no way that they will waste a spot on the character selection screen for ZSS - please keep ZSS and Samus connected!
God, I love the Shield Doors!
Plus, he wouldn't have enough moves to fill up the specials and Final Smash...you can only shoot fire/blasts so many times. Expect a Trophy as a best present possible.
And to the Gear...Melee had a level where Kraid appeared and titled the stage.
I meant a stage where Kraid would actually use some of his classic moves from the Metroid games. He would be on the right side of the stage at the beginning, just spitting out rocks. Then, once he is damaged enough, he would shoot platforms from his belly and spawn those floating claws. That would be much more interesting than having him simply spin a stage left or right. Here is a video for those asking, "what the hell is VG talking about?"
DO YOU UNDERSTAAAAAND??
God damn, I feel like an idiot now.
It still infuriates me to no end though, especially when I'm backtracking and I just want to run past enemies. I hated navigating the valhalla in Prime 3 because I just wanted to run past those damn metroids.
I wouldn't mind if they put in traditional loading screens, at least that way I can't be attacked while the game is loading.
Hey, I understand where you are coming from, but the appeal of Metroid has always been exploration - and Retro probably thought including a static loading screen would diminish the feeling of immersion one feels behind Samus' visor.
@ king3vbo:
That needs to be done. NOW!
The MetroidPrime games are still awesome though. I just beat MP3 yesterday. That game is fucking orgasmic! I cried when I had to kill Rundas.
NOOOOOOOOO!!!! SPOOOOILLLLERRRRSS........
I really can't pay attention to the cblogs and buy games at my leisure, can I.
My job here is done.
CAPTAIN ASSHOLE AWAY!!
