It isn't cryptic, it is as it is. Early talks are floating around and the apparent "Magneto Prequel" might have a familiar face with a younger twist...and a tail? Wait, are they serious?
Hank McCoy (Beast) is in it. There was even a production drawing seen of a young version of him, but with a
TAIL. Young Beast was a normal human, not a tailed person. Immediately everyone jumped and said, "no, you n00b, that waz teh Nightcrawler, lulz." But there was audio with the drawing that said the name BEAST.
Holy monkey what are they trying to do to us? What are they trying to do to my X-Men. Was it not bad enough that X3 was a big, steamin' pile of poo'?

That is the only good thing that came out of X3.
I have my fingers cross that they'll find a way to retcon that whole movie.

Also it wasn't a real photo or concept art, but they're saying it was CGI, but probably still concept art. Although he's (Beast or Nightcrawler?) DEFINITELY in it.
I'm just trying to keep the dream alive Blindside. Hopefully they notice that the internet blew up over this, it's kind of a big deal.

Just give X-Men back to Marvel, they've shown they can handle their own movies more adequately than any big studio.

I would maybe watch it on HBO/Showtime/Cinemax if it was in HD and i had nothing to do one night. Whether i would sit through the whole thing depends on how bad they made it
Why directors think they can make more compelling stories than what has evolved & sold through marvel is beyond me. Maybe it's just the hollywood god complex at work.

I'm with MINOR THREAT in that it will likely be Nightcrawler due to Mystique's ties to Magneto (although it hasn't been confirmed she appears, either).
As much as I'd love to see a more faithful representation of Beast, it'd likely fit in the story better than a human-looking young Beast since in X3 his fur was part of his mutation. If he was already mutated when younger he'd hafta be blue and furry (granted, he wouldn't hafta have a tail).
We'll hafta wait and see, I guess. My fingers are crossed they meant Nightcrawler.
If you go see the movie and Beast has a tail, then bitch. Until then, shut the fuck up and just... um, watch movies. Or something.
