Same story, different game. The title is not even released and plans of downloadable content are already laid out for you to squeem at. Just like the recent endeavor with FFCC for WiiWare, Ninja Gaiden 2 will let you pay 200 points for costumes. I will say, the first costume seen does venture on edge of must-have cause of the epicness...
...but still, $2.50 to make your character look different seems a bit much. I will admit I did buy costumes on XBL before but they were like 50 points. Hey, I was young and stupid back then.
This one is a promotional item that will be given away with 39,000 copies of the game. It might be pre-order bonus for Japan only. If you don't get this, wait till Jully and dish out 200 MS points for the first of three costume packs.

I never buy DLC unless it is so friggin hot and can harnesses my fapping powers. Then a 2% is risen of me getting it.
Seriously, for every game that does this, I lose my taste for gaming.
I still can't wait to play this game though.
Let's get our terminology right folks.
DLC (Downloadable Content) == Good!
Microtransactions == Bad!
