I am still upset that Sony is screwing me out of the beta.
I don't know though, sometimes I prefer to look forward to going out, getting the thing and getting home for a session. A beta can often spoil the surprise. Maybe that's just me, or maybe I am jealous and not looking forward to having my arse handed to me when I first start playing online, with no previous practice.
Anyway, I agree with you Clance about betas sometimes ruining the surprise. I'm guessing this one will be well worth the wait.
why did you sit through it on 10 other websites? And then this one?

I'm in the beta because I downloaded it from one of my friends. It's sharable just like all the other PSN games! Blindside, just find a friend who's in (and pray to God he's got an open slot). The 60 player battles are good but it's nothing compared to the co-op matches. 8 players each with their own class. There are only three different ones now but I'm sure there will be more. And it's really about teamwork. They ones that run in like a headless chicken are in for a surprise! The enemies are rather difficult to kill. The game recognizes if you're playing with only 2 players or 8. Because with 2 players the enemies will die a bit faster.
It's like having 3 modes in one. The single-player, multi-player and co-op. And remember the co-op has a completely different storyline as well.
Can't get enough of people yelling 'MEDIIIIC!!!' and 'AMMO!, GET ME SOME AMMOOO!!' My favorite part is that one level where you have to activate 2 switches. But you can't run in and press one first and then press the other one. No, you gotta split up and press both of them at the same time. If you don't the enemy will just keep respawning. If they respawn and you're still there, you're dead.
And I haven't even talked about the weapons. I don't want to end up writing a blog in the comments so I'll only talk about the Phoenix, it's the Medics weapon. Primary fire is some sort of laser beam that sucks life energy out of the enemies. That energy is used for two things, first to heal yourself while shooting. Only then so if you stop shooting and they'll shoot you, you're dead. And second (maybe I should've said this first) if you use the secondary fire at your allies they'll get some hp back. There is no other way for Soldiers and Special Ops to heal. The Medic and his Phoenix are your best friend.
Needless to say, I can't wait for this game.

No, I didn't realize you were him. I didn't...I had a rush of requests and didn't know who half of them were.
And I might suck it up and reserve at GameStop cause I want it at midnight release and want the Collector's Edition :( Amazon is the only other place but I have a feeling I wouldn't get it until late in the evening day of at best.

Pre-ordering might be the best option. I still think it sucks though. You (and many others) bought Qore for the beta and never got in.
I guess from what I've seen it does look like an improvement over the last (it had better be).
