This goes along with a story I have pending...who else loves point-and-click adventures? There are classics like Sam & Max, Day of the Tentacle, Space Quest (thanks Snaileb) and my favs like The Dig, and Full Throttle.
Well it seems developers are seeing possibilities and developing these adventures for the DS (and Wii). Coming out August 3rd is
Undercover: Double Play, a point-and-click adventure that has minigames (one that looks like it was taken straight from Mission Impossible) and you use the mic as a blowgun and other neat little activites. You play as Dr. John Russel, who is accused of leaking confidential information, with a partner who is your office assistant Audrey. Both characters are playable but individually and it will be possible to see where both characters are at the same time via the 2 screens.
Only downer...German, Austria, and Switzerland are the places it is being released. If there is English on this cart...oh the joys of region free handheld!

OT: I'm all for the return of adventure games. I'm playing Phoenix Wright 2 right now and it's pretty much an adventure game at heart. I'm enjoying it thoroughly.
Blindside, you should be entitled to a free month of Gold service when you setup a Live account. Peep it, yo!
Like I said, it is a matter of how my wireless set up works.
I still don't see how gamers can complain about <$5 a month for free demos, online play, game videos, and the community. Millions of users don't think twice (nor complain) about paying almost $200 a year to play one game exclusively, but $50 a year to have online access to all multiplayer 360 games is ridiculous? Pff.
