Another MGS4 blog?! Can't be!

It is, I hate them as much as you but since playing the game, this needed to be said. After all is said and down, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriot is SO not a console seller.



Who cares about the fact that it sold a lot of units and PS3's. Who cares that it put the PS3 at #1 seller in Japan. Is that important? No! Of course not. Those types of sales don't make a console seller. Get with the program noob!

And disregard the fact that the game is awesome, even for someone who only played Metal Gear Solid and skipped 2 & 3. On top of that, just cause a game can cause Xbox fanboys, Nintendo fanboys, and people who don't have a PS3 to BUY a PS3, that SO does not make it a console seller.


If a game is good and causes people to buy the game with the console to play it, that doesn't necessarily mean it is a console seller. I mean the only way that MGS4 could be considered a console seller is if it sold 5.5 million copies on its first day and constantly was sold out. Otherwise the game is considered a complete failure. Well that is what some competeing company told me so they must be right, right?

So Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patroit is a game that is fun. You don't play it the whole time (the cutscenes are entertaining and engaging) but the times that you do is more fun than a lot of other games out there. Win. Stop the hate and enjoy a good game.
