Probably one of the first times anywhere Metroid Metal will be available to be adored LIVE! Lead man "Stemage" and four others will be on stage performing some of the greatest songs that has come from video games and I couldn't be more excited.
To fill out the line-up they got some other good musicians...
How can you not be excited? And yes that means the other bands will be present for this include Arm Cannon, Temp Sound Solutions, This Place Is Haunted, Smash Bros, Planet Skill, Select Start, and Powerglove. How can you say no to a line-up like that? And there is only one place you can see all these musicians perform. One great and amazing place that you should all be at. And that place is...
That's right, the AMAZING annual event hitting us in less than a month! January 1-4...MAGFest 7 is coming and coming hard. If you like video games, music, video games music, and fun...there should be no reason why you miss the event!
If you want in on the fun, some of us Dtoiders are already set to go and welcome all new faces! Yes, it is just outside our nations capital (that's Washington D.C. for the uninformed) but all are welcome. People from around the world come to this event and the Mark Center Hilton in Alexandria, VA is a great place to have it. Convenient to the airport, metro system, and train system; there should be nothing stopping you.
Need further convincing? Check out this hacked Guitar Hero playing "Space Pirates" by Metroid Metal.
You want in? Check it out and join us, and if you are interested in staying the weekend, you can always pitch in for the hotel room. Hito and I will make room in the beds or you can cuddle up with Cowhasseloff in his pull out bed. Don't worry, we will make it work and make sure you feel violated and assaulted like never before. I mean we do have a marshmallow gun!

I am astounded that I've never heard of these guys before. I'm both a video game music (particularly nintendo) goddamn junkie, and yet these dudes slipped below my radar? Unbelievable.
Thanks for fixing me up, blindside. Wish I could make it out to DC for the show, but it's a bit outside my budget at the moment.
Damn, its nice to see these guys didn't drop off the face of the planet entirely. I remember waiting for each song off the original metroid as they wrote it so many years ago.
Oh wow, that sounds like one kickass week. It's not even that far from me (probably a 4 hour drive at the most), but I don't think I'd be able to go. Just got back from a trip to NYC earlier this fall, and I don't think I can afford another road trip right now, monetary or time-wise.
Metroid Metal is ridiculously awesome. The remixed songs are less thrash/guitar wankery commonly found in fan songs; rather, these tracks are well put together homages to the original creations.
