The Music and Gaming Festival came to a close with the closing ceremony at 3pm on Sunday but I just got back to my place from it about an hour or so ago, tired, drained, pissed, relieved, and happy. It is OVER!!! Sweet gamingness was to be had and you should join us next year! Just asked those who did show up!

They had...well I could list the countless systems (just about all but Jaguar. Yes there was 3DO, Saturn, NeoGeo CD, and some sort of PC F/x thingy?) and the bands but that would be just a rehash of previous blogs made. Just know that from my ears listening to the big boys of the group, there were less problems from previous years in the sweet hotel. There were some mishaps but that is guaranteed with that many kids (who may or may not be idiotic) in one place for four days. So it was a success?

Not much video was taken and I have ZERO pictures but other of the Dtoiders who were there do. All I managed was a sighting of CowzHasseloff3. But my mind no longer wants to work...so I type no more!


Morals of this weekend:

1. DON'T TRUST HALO KIDS!
2. All levels in Call of Duty 4 can be sniperriffic?
3. Gamer Guilds/Groups/Clicks/League are cereal business when it comes to tourneys.
4. Girls at Gaming Conventions are either too young or with a guy.
5. Emo bands like Coheed & Cambria make idiots break Rock Band pedals.
6. Stuttering Craig does not want me to fluff his pillow.
7. Dale North sucks at video games.


But out of all of this I got to see how a convention works and have a new-found respect for them and urge you to try to think about how much hard work it takes to put things on.

So despite my stolen properties, I will be there next year! You should be too, I hear they have video games there!
