This holiday season there are a lot of games coming out. We all know that but we have to save money and not buy everyone. But if you decided to hold off on one game, then you see it cheap for a limited time?
Due to a possible need of a new car and other expences, I need to hold back on buying some games. That means I have to wait on getting games like Little Big Planet and FarCry 2. I really wan tthem but I do need to save money. That is until I was pointed at a real "SlickDeal."
30% off of FarCry 2 for the Xbox 360. New games don't usually get that much taken off so soon unless
they suck, which is not the case of
this title. To make it even sweeter, shipping is only $3 brining the total to just under $45. How amazing is that?! But the question is...should I spend the money or wait on it? More of a rhetorical question for me, but for you guys...what is a price you cannot pass on a game you want very baddly?
And there were other nice deals
here, like Saint's Row 2 for $2. Amazing?
Save now and pay more later or buy now and have to save even more later?
once i find it at the 20$ mark new, i'm sold.
also how old the game is, and how many other games i have on my 'to play list' get factored in.
it ranges anywhere from $10-40
If I see a game for less then 10 dollars, and I know it isn't complete shit, then I will get it, no questions asked. This is especially true for garage and yard sales where you find all the retro gems that people throw out. :D
@commish: Agreed. Fucking publishers need to learn to spread this shit through the year.
a game i didn't want but just can't pass up? $10 or less.
$2? LIAR!!! :p
It really depends what's going on tbh. Quite often I'll pass on a brand new, full price game because I typically have way too many games on the go at any one time. However, I'll quite often pick up one I was looking for if I see it for $20 or less. Usually if it's at that price I won't get many more chances to pick it up, so I take advantage while I can. :)
