Yes, we all know the Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3 games costs $60. It sucks, especially if you get one that isn't worth $30 or $40. But why is it so expensive? "Yew gotz 2 put 'n da ub3r-grafx, w00t w00t!" Yes, but wait, no?
A lot of people prefer PC games cause the mouse and keyboard are more accurate and better and cause you can get a very pretty game with unreal resolutions, usually better than consoles. If that is so, then how come you pay $10 less for them. Granted you do have to upgrade your system every month (I kid...every year, haha) but still you are paying less for a "better" game.
I was just looking at the
EBGames/GameStop listing of BioShock and it shows the PC version is cheaper. Is it that much more difficult to make a game for the 360 than the PC? Do you really have to pay $10 more for a version you don't have to install and with (perhaps) gimped controls and/or graphics?
PS: this is no way saying the 360's graphics suck.
Face it, we're addicted. That's why, just like more potent drugs, we buy more graphical games.
"HEY, LISTEN, HEY, LISTEN, don't hold out on me maaaan!"
console gamers = chicks asking for it
EA/Ubisoft/Sony/MS = frat guy
HD haloes = GHB and roofies
You do the math.
