that happened just a couple days ago
When people like something theyre generally afraid to criticize it. That happens all the fucking time and this site isnt any different. And for anyone that wants to give me shit, I've been on Destructoid longer than just about anyone and I really don't work on web posting grammar and spelling. This isnt a fucking job interview so to obsess over minor details is a waste of time.

I am confused blackbeardonguitar, are you saying that we should point out errors in articles or we shouldn't? because i do from time to time. the way i see it, details should be correct.
No, I wrote a post about what Dale North wrote using piss poor math. Then I got basically 173 comments calling me an idiot for actually thinking about it rather than looking at letters. His post didnt make much sense and I said something about it and somehow that was bad. It's not like he said something to me about it, no I just got 173 random comments from people who didnt bother to fucking understand what I wrote or why I wrote it.
More importantly who gives a fuck?

The word is "maths" or "mathematics" not "math", which just makes it sound like you're a Catholic with a lisp.
You made the classic "comma before a but" mistake! Take out the words within it commas and, if it doesn't make sense, you'll see that it shouldn't be written like that! Unless it's in a list.
That last "sentence" in your post should be added to the end of the penultimate to actually follow sentence structure.

Wow, what a dick. Was this necessary? Mistakes happen.
For those of you who don't know, BlackbeardonGuitar's original post was attempting to point our factual errors in this article, saying that (as close as I was able to decipher from the post) the figures Dale posted about the Wii's overall attach rate were wrong.
The problem with the post, and the reason for the fervent bashing that took place afterwards was: not only was his claim false, as he confused attach rate with the overall ratio of games to consoles sold (different statistics altogether), but because he presented his accusation without any regard to composition, grammar, or spelling. You literally had to stare at the post for 10 minutes before you could begin to understand what he was trying to communicate. The Destructoid community, not wanting to deal with that kind of thing, and being generally awesome, turned an otherwise fail post into a worthwhile and entertaining diversion for the evening.
I hope that clears things up for those that weren't there, and helps you understand that BlackbeardonGuitar is completely undeserving of any sympathy in the matter.
