UPDATE: holy shit, the game came in the mail just now!!!!!!!! my g/f was talking to me online while i'm at work, and she said i got a package, so I had her open it and she said it was mario kart!!!! go amazon!!!! haha excitement level is highhhhhhh

Are all of my posts going to be Amazon related? haha, the recent trend seems to be falling that way. So way back when I pre-ordered Mario Kart Wii off of amazon, because I'm part of that prime shit where you get free 2-day shipping or $4 overnight (which i did). You pay like 80 dollars a year, and can share it with 3 other people for free, so it's 20/year for me and my roomies.

Also with my work schedule it's hard to get to a store and pick up games, or know where i'm going to be when a game is released, so I just have stuff shipped to my door, the lazy American way.

Whenever I pre-order games from them, they wait and wait... to ship it to me. Like Crisis Core took a few days, and then it was overnighted for free. But I digress. Anyway, as I'm sitting at my laptop at work, I got a random email from Amazon that my order has shipped. I was like what order? IT'S FUCKIN' MARIO KART! And it's in Delaware (I live in Philly). So, either they aren't going to start actually moving it my way until the weekend, or I just may get this sucker before the release date. Or I'll be waiting until Monday when I get home from work :(

Either way, I am super super excited for this game. I've always loved Mario Kart games. I've won many a tournaments, including every one I entered at Otakon (eww i used to go there) and no one would play the stupid DS one with me, because I "snaked" and cheated and all that garbage. Either way, I really can't wait for this game, the hype for this one was way above my hype for smash, so if this is all true, this just might make my friday... more than Jim barrel rolling on a bed.
