About
Borne from the ashes of the podcast formerly known as Robochode rises a greater phoenix. It burns with the intensity of three suns. It wears plumage as brightly colored as light filtered through a perfect prism. Rearing its head back, it readies its first words in years to echo across the hills and valleys for days on end:

"FUCK YOU BITCHES I'M BACK"

Binary Chode is here to stay, ladies and gentlemen, so you best be prepared.

This episode is so many firsts. It's the first time we have a guest. (it's Tarvu, the Destructoid Forum's most beloved curmedgeon bird man). It's the first time we record in the morning instead of at night. The first time that Jon is late with editing because of wonderful personal news (he found a man and a couple bottles of wine). And the first time that the title of the episode has absolutely nothing to do with what you'll be listening to. Luckily, someone screen captured the moment when Google Docs turned into the worst game ever. Another episode title considered for this show: "Goddamnit, Levi."

You should also check out the episode page itself since a pretty big portion of the discussion involves a website that would probably get the post banned if it linked directly.

The opening theme is Cashflow by Beardfish. The ending theme is bitterfly by etc. Give them a listen if you like what you hear.

New year, same shenanigans. We get ready to molt our 2012 exoskeletons by taking a look at some of the coolest (and uncoolest) things that happened last year in science. We also talk about stem cells appearing in places they probably shouldn't be. Then, animal sex, like we promised. Another name for this episode could be "Conor mouth breathes and reacts to things." Because he does. A lot.

Also for the new year, a new opening theme. Let us know how you feel about Cashflow by Beardfish. Our ending theme is still bitterfly by etc.

Here's episode three, folks!

Merry Christmas everyone! At first, we thought this would be a bonus episode. Then Jon started editing it and realized that it was nearly an hour long, so it's worthy of being called Episode 3 instead of a b-side or something. However, keep in mind that we're all just shooting whatever shit comes at the top of our heads. No google doc was harmed in the making of this episode.

This week, we talk about the toys and games we played as kids that influenced why we like science, technology, and sci-fi. In the process, we learn that Levi was a mad scientist, Conor accuses Jon of having no business talking about science, and Clint's kids are budding scientists in the sense that they really like experimenting with themselves. Just your typical Monday banter.

If you like the music snippets that you heard, give Suck City by Black Math and bitterfly by etc. the full listen.

We did not deliver on our promise that it gets better. But we're okay with that. In this episode, we dive into the latest development in the search for sasquatch, where vampires come from, and then try to sell each other some snake oil panaceas. In addition, Clint tells a lot of stories about growing up in Georgia. And his GI problems.

Oh hey, this is a long episode. Like, two hours long. You might want to pause somewhere along the way before you get sick of us, but it's totally your call.

Episode 001: Hey dickbrain! It gets better
[There are times when Jon laughs really loud. If you're listening through headphones, err on the quieter side of things. This has been a public service announcement.]

For our first episode, we try to imagine what it's like being trapped in your body for 10 years and figure out why sperm (as well as all manner of sexual behavior) goes the way it goes. In addition, we learn that Clint can’t imagine dealing with coma patients, Conor bases his science knowledge on Doctor Who, Jon hates mammals and the human race, and Levi hates agreement. But be safe in the knowledge that it does, indeed, get better.

If you like the music snippets that you heard, give Suck City by Black Math and bitterfly by etc. the full listen.
