Alright, so the Character Creator Trial, which has about 25% of the parts of the full creator, has gotten out onto The Pirate Bay (EDIT: it has since been taken off the pirate Bay, but if you Google scctrialsetup.exe you can find it), and i have to tell you.
It is Fucking AWESOME.
Seriously, the amount of fun that this little part of the game contains is just unreal, i encourage all of you to go grab it now.
after playing it I'm going to say if you really want to enjoy it, coughing up 10 dollars is going to be key, theres far less than 25% of the options available to you
Other than that... holy shit I can't wait til tuesday.
Get the complete edition on day of release, June 17th and you can claim back the purchase price against the price of the full edition of Spore when it's released later this year.
