That's incredibly retarded. Good thing I have no desire to buy another Guitar Hero already or this would turn me off to the series.
All this does is make me want to buy Rock Band instead of Guitar Hero.
Activision could not possibly screw up any worse than this- why would anyone want to buy Guitar Hero more after seeing this?

Activision in a show of "beat this Harmonix" one-up-man-ship, has announced today the creation of a new revolutionary sixth fret button for Guitar Hero 4.
The button, entitled Purple Haze, will be a purple-hued button two frets past the orange button on the neck of the guitar.
Activision was quoted as saying "Fuck man, that was a brilliant idea, wasn't it?"
I don’t understand...is that a shoop, or did they actually deface the statue? The primary colored buttons look shooped on, but the Guitar Hero logo looks real.
This is fool proof. If it backfired and people thought they were dicks, they can just deny that they did it and say a fan must've done it.
