This should be a disease and it should have a name attached to it. I bought both condemned games a few weeks ago on the sole notion that they were great games. .... never played them. I got the darkness off Amazon just cause it was $5, but I’ve already beaten it twice..... help. .
Yeah I do the same thing... still haven't finished a few huge games I got for PS2. It's hard find time to finish a game sometimes with games that are 40+ hours becoming more and more common. It's even hard to not to pick up an A rated title when you see it for under twenty bucks though.
I recently picked up like 5 ps2 games that ive not even played yet, damn it, i hate it so much
Yeah I have a nice list of games I haven't played yet thanks mainly to eBay. I think the problem is you see a game you might want and it's a low price so you can't help but get it.
And me personally I'll usually try to play new releases first, but I've found that I have trouble beating the new releases before the next new game comes out and then I just have the stuff I've been buying on the side just sitting there.
With Dead Space out here on Friday, along with Far Cry, its getting unreal
Im gonna be broke :(
@CLOUD09: Golden Sun FTW
@Big Evil:
I did that all last year with the holiday rush of games.
This year the remedy was to move my xbox from my house to my friends house. That way I can only play it 3-4 days a week not the normal every-available-second.
It makes me think twice about what games I can fit in the short times our schedules sync and I can play games.
It does have its draw backs.
I really want to play Dead Space now but hes not home.
Oh well, I had to stop the addiction sometime.
That's odd, I'm starting a game drive to benefit the charity of myself. Not that I have any charity. But you might!
Actually my box just died this afternoon. Whoopsies!
I have the same problem(?). I really have to carefully rationalize my purchases these days. One way to help mitigate the financial impact of such buys is to buy used. Gamefly in particular has some really remarkable deals from time to time. Amazon Deals of the Day can come through big sometimes also.
Go to my blog . . . and look at my "Gaming Setup" and THEN you will realize how buying games for the sake of it is a terrible, terrible disease . . . -_-' . . . lol.
MAN THE FUCK UP. If you spent more time playing and less time bitching this problem would sort itself out, no?
