is it just me or is the update wwaack.

Last night I got on my 360 to check out the new Dashboard update. I was pretty excited not gunna lie, I guess that the ability to look at people's friends brings out the stocker side of me. Anyways, I was only on for about 3 minutes when my xbox froze. So I was like okay.... this is probably normal cause my 360 just downloaded a big file or whatever. So I let it sit there for a bit then turned it back on. After another 10 minutes it froze again.

Basically,
I'm hoping this is a common thing for people and not my 360 being an epic fail for the 4th time. So.. please comment and tell me if I should just try again tonight and see what happens or should I call microsoft and sit on hold for a couple of hours...

My Marketplace and XBL page won't load...Why do I have to wait to log in to XBL and wait to log in AGAIN for those main pages when it never did that before?

mine froze once but i turned off and on again in true pc fashion and it worked the next time. I'd say give it a go a few more times before going through the hell that is xbox services.

Anyways, give it time, it was slow and slow to load because so many people downloaded the update, and so many people were on their dashboard checking it out.

Yeah, my 'box froze twice while trying in vain to play some CoD4 right after I dled the update. Everyone on CoD4 said they were having the same problems. The servers couldn't handle everyone perusing XBLA or dling stuff or playing online. Hopefully it'll be better tonight.

this should be expected and im sure after a few days of this bs, we can go back to regular playing

lol it actually sped up my xbox. it use to freeze for 5-10 seconds every time I'd go to a blade, but now it's stopped doing that.

M$ servers are gettin hammered by all the dl just wait a week
you'd think for all your hard earned cash they would invest in the servers and such but no its got some M$ executive pocket lining to do

It took a while to get it working for me, but after about 20 minutes everything was up and running. I think you got to give it time because of the intense server beatdown MS is getting

I think it's just the fact it's December.
My update has done nothing but improve all the problems on my 360 I was having before.
