So yeah me and my buddies have been raving about how amazing Metal Gear Solid 4 is and I keep telling them It'll win game of the year this year but they're skeptical. So my buddy decided to rent it because I couldn't(back to this later). And we went to my house and played this great interactive movie til about 1am. The game is awesome, and I never liked MGS games til this one(I played 1 or 2 and hated the controls and didn't touch it again til 4) I always thought the story was interesting and deep but I just hated the controls from the older games, that and PS3 is my first Playstation evar. So yeah, I really hope they go through with it and make like a movie trilogy of it, but of course only if its done right...looking at your Max Payne...
My most played game in November has been Gears 2, it's kept my attention really well, but most of that is surely due to my friends playing it as well. through the time I've had Gears I've only played CoD4(my top game) once, but its sort of funny cause me and my buddies will make 2-3 comments a night while playing gears as to how superior CoD4 is to it. Anyways, I've only been renting Gears so far, I was going to buy it but after the first two days of playing it I've sort of backed off that stance and for now will continue to rent it(work at Gamecrazy so I get free rentals at Hollywood video). Maybe I'll end up picking it up down the road but right now I'm really thinking of picking up MGS4. Oh and yeah, I got like a $3 late fee on the game cause the guy who was supposed to renew it for me forgot >:[
In gaming related news, I with the help of my Mom have purchased a super Hawt 46'' Samsung 1080p, don't recall the model number, but its the one with the red tint on the border of the TV and its like the top rated TV right now. So I look forward to relegating my parents to the 1080i Aquos while I enjoy gaming, blu-rays, and sports in lucious 1080p hawtness. Also I'll probably be back to playing CoD4 mostly in the next few days mostly because its such an awesome game.

MGS4 is a real good videogame but I get tired of all this movies. There are parts of this game, specially the part of Eastern Europe that really bores a lot, but it gets better after this Chapter.

I think the Eastern European part is lots of fun, you just have to be creative and fool around. It's more open ended and full of surprises than it leads itself to be I think. Act 5 is my problem. There could have been so much more there. Act 4 could have used some soldiers to sneak by too. Also the game is seriously lacking in the codec conversations. Why wasn't Drebin there to be a Signit-type, providing info on gear?
Dont get me started on Naked Son.
Despite that(MGO has lots of minor problems I guess) I think it's the best game this gen and this year.
Problem with Eastern Europe is the huge cutscene in it, it was really long, lots of story, but it was alot of talking to sit through.
