So I'm not a blogger, least not until this, but I've heard the hype, and it reminded me of how everyone back during middle school was going ape shit over instant messaging and teck decks...wait that wasn't even middle school it was the rogue grade .... 6th! It had its own school called "intermediate school". But yeah, this is that beginning blog, the one that gets my feet wet, and I blogged once on gamebattles, I'm expecting similar results here...no responses, least probably not til I make some good ol' E-buddies here.
Anyways, reason I decided to make an account here at Dtoid was because quite frankly this is my favorite video game news site, I find many of the articles pretty funny, and the comments add to that as well, the time I discovered Dtoid was when I stumbled upon the 10 golden rules of online gaming and it was the funniest read me and my friends ever had.
Anyways, look forward to getting to know people and become a part of Dtoid but I know how most people who might stumble upon this might be feeling and its probably something like this: ... ... ...well I just uploaded a picture of spacecat saying he's indifferent to this news but its not here...its on the side of the writing area...maybe it'll appear somewhere on the blog.
eh I know what you mean. AOL and chat rooms. Have fun time no? Tech decks on the other hand...no sir. I don't like em. (or rather, never got into it like pokemon cards and that small wave of plague.)
Welcome Welcome. As most will probably say, do not suck.
Yeah during that time I was too deep into Starcraft still to be instant messaging, and Starcraft also took precedence over Pokemon...Tech Decks...I had a couple of, but me and my friends preferred to arm wrestle during lunch rather than try to do 900's with our tech decks.
Thanks, usually don't have a problem with high suckage levels so not too worried about that one.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

You'll find that the Dtoid community is extremely friendly on the whole. I wrote a blog about nothing and got over ten whole comments (ZOMG!!).
What kind of tags do you mean? Topic tags, or object tags?
Topic tags, I guess, I was just reading the stuff on the right and it said to add tags but didn't find a way to.
Tech decks were fucking awesome.
I never got the hype for tech decks
but video games...
I got that on a whole different level.
The difference between IMing then, and blogging now is that someone can now show the whole world how much of an ignorant ass they are.
Welcome to Destructoid, I love you.
but...but I still IM.
