Plans for Sunday (brunch and brawl?)
Beanopolis | 2:09 PM on 03.07.2008 3 comments

How your later half of the weekend is going to be shaped with the release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl?

My plans will mostly consist of using Skype (or something similar) to get some voice chat with my long distant buds and play some extreme online battles until someone pukes. I can only hope that there will be no need for yells of "Lag" as we manage to completely tear eachother to shreds. Btw, I will not be lining up at midnight to pick up my reserved copy as I enjoy playing with at least some sleep so I'm not dead coming into work on Monday... (one of my buds has already managed to take the next two days off as personal time, lucky bastard).

Here are some examples:

Are you going to isolate yourself in your room and unlock everything through single-player?

Are you inviting all your friends to your place for some massively multiplayer fun time?

Are you gonna connect online and play some Japanese that are already masters of the game? (Jigglypuff teabagging? OH NOES!)

Are you going to mooche over at someone else's place, drink all their beer/soda, and break their TV as you leave?

Lets hear your master plan!

Get drunk, do some blow, & buy some hookers.

Rinse and repeat. That's my Sunday.

Gonna go to the midnight thing at GS with a friend, we'll both get the game, go back to my place, play it thoroughly, sleep for about 3-5 hours or so, get up, play some more, then my friend will go back to Chicago and I will spend the rest of the week playing the game against Dtoiders and other friends online (SPRING BREAK BOO-JAH!!!)

I'll be getting up at 4 am, leave for work and then work untill 18h, then go home and cry because brawl isn't out yet in europe ( won't be untill after summer ) and then I'll try to forget my sadness by smoking a massive joint and playing some Lost Odyssey ( hey if I'm gonna cry, at least this game gives me an excuse to do so... ) :-)

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
