PSX isn't doing anything more than making an educated guess. Toshiba's probably going to have this thing put to bed in the next week or two is my guess.
The only reason to prolong it is to help give Universal and paramount some time to prep their catalog announcements for BluRay.
It's not going to be all downloads for a long while.

For a fair few people it already is... illegally for the most part, but its only a matter of time.
