It was a matter of time before someone came up with a REAL creative and Grand idea for LBP.

That idea is fully fleashed out with the latest craze to sweap the Sony PS3 Universe...
Yes, the LBP Closed ( Soon to be OPEN? ) Beta.

Someone created a Mod/Level rendition of Super Mario Bros. for PS3 in UnrealTournament3.
( It has official been topped, NO? )

Look @ this rendition of the Mario Universe using the LBP's very own Custom Level Creator.

Sup, BS3? Long time, man!

I wish I could say I was excited about LBP, but I just don't understand the appeal. Sure it's great having a game that lets you make your own content, but when I keep seeing levels designed after Mario, Sonic, and Donkey Kong I can't help but think what's the point? If I wanted to play those amazing games I'd plug in my NES or Genesis to play them. I really hope the user generated content is amazing, because if it fails so does the game in my honest opinion.

You are right... There is already a set NES gamecart that plays said game. But it's just one of those real geeky cool kinda feelings that the past hasn't been forgotten. I know it may get annoying to some, but for some people the 8bit/16bit code. it's just engrained in their Video Game Soul!

( What comes off the heels of Success of the rehashed Bionic Commando & Mega Man 9? There's still heart strings to be tugged @ All Around. )

But yeah, LBP is going to be epic, just from how much you can do and create.
