So, the most important things first. According to my forum account, I've been a member of Destructoid for 3 years as of today, though that number gets a little hazy since I was reading the site for months before opening an account. So thanks for the laughs, thanks for the games, etc. yada yada yada.

So clearly, I didn't play everything that came out this year, but the best game in my book is Batman: Arkham Asylum. It finally made stealth enjoyable for me, the voice acting was pitch-perfect, the environments were varied and carefully detailed, and it had a unique mix of play styles, all of which were carefully and expertly engineered.

Anyway, three years down, two to go...
