DO WANT
Man, I wish they could just have gotten all the original voice actors from Batman: TAS. It really took me out of the experience when Commissioner Gordon had a different voice. But yeah, this looks sweet, even though it's obvious that Hamill's voice has changed a bit in the last 15 years.
So far the only thing that concerns me about this game is how the stealth parts will work out.
Tom Kane does every other video game voice, wtf.
Hamill's voice changing doesn't bother me too much because of the fact that this is obviously a more serious Batman game, so his voice probably shouldn't be as light as it was in TAS.
Oh.
My.
Gawd.
I came...
I really didn't care about this game.
Now I do.
Also, Arkham Asylum is a very strange book.
I agree with both Samit's comments. Then again Bob Hastings has got to be in his eighties by now, so chances are he might not be interested in reprising his role as Jim Gordon.
New trailer!! Looks very nice. I'm hoping they put enough stuff in this game for me to buy it, otherwise it looks like I'm renting it, no matter how awesome the single-player is.
Aren't we forgetting somebody? Kevin "I AM Batman" Conroy?
I peed a little.
I certainly prefer Heath Ledger and Christian Bale to those two, but they're still fucking awesome.
If that game is bad, we should become an angry mob and rise against Rocksteady.
It looks so good X_X
Except the lip syncing, which looks terrible....
This game is going to own.. I can't wait for this one and X-men Origins: Wolverine..
Dayum! that looks pretty damn awesome, but I do wish that they had gotten ALL the Batman the animated series voice actors instead of just a couple, bu oh well.
nice find BFeld
I NEED THIS.
Hopefully it plays as good as it looks/sounds. (Except for Commissioner Gordon's generic tough guy voice)
fap.
I want this game right now.
Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill. Fucking Awesome.
I'm really skeptical about the gameplay, though. The melee action looks like it can satisfy, but the environments seem cramped for wire-related gadgets.
For a game that's supposed to come out in less than 2 months, I sure wish I could see more straight-gameplay and less video editing.
The joker doesn't look like Heath Ledger. I'm not buying it.
Also, the unrealistic proportions in The Joker's character model burn my eye sockets. Even the cartoon was lightyears beyond this game in terms of realistic design.
Glorious. Please let this be good.
Ugh, on third watch, the ridiculous size of Batman is also nauseating. God damn, who the hell designed the character models?
The audio is definitely the trailer's strong point, both in (without any question) voice-acting as well as the hint at the original batman theme by Danny Elfman.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT
Oh god, that looks absolutely incredible, but my most favorite thing has to be the voice acting.
shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit I am so excited.
After a second watch, I'm not too sure how that combat will be, but besides that, no problems.
That was the most awesome thing ever.
DO WANT RIGHT NOW.
This is probably gonna be the first game I ever wait in line for on release day. God I can't fucking wait.
Well, it looks really nice and the voice acting is excellent, but that combat was pretty shaky looking. =\
I am picky about my combat, I really fucking hate floaty combat with spotty collision detection. The grapples looked cool, but the way the hits looked when they landed... kind of makes me a little cautious. I think a lot of developers would benefit from using an Assassin's Creed style of combat for 3rd person action games. It required timing and skill, plus the finishers were fucking amazing.
As a matter of fact... a Batman game using the Assassin's creed engine would be pretty awesome...
That made me hard.
@007
Sarcasm! *jazz hands*
This game will really make my summer. At last, another game that seeks to give the Batman license its Batarang edge back. Haven't had that since Batman Returns on SNES, IMO.
I know there was a Dark Knight game in development that looked cool and got canned, but I'd rather have this game, which can stand on its own without the recent films.
If the combat tightens up, it's a buy for me.
the sound and graffics are good, the combat looks okay but the finishers will get old after you do them a couple times it will loose it's specialness
Hearing those voices does my soul good.
Looks slick.
Stealthing worries me a little, but it looks good.
Looks amazing, but doesn't look like a ton of fun.
I hear that there doing more than making the combat good. They're also adding investigation elements like the Condemned games,as well as a new feature called Silent Predator mode , which is trying to emulate the scenes in which Batman picks off thugs one by one. So all in all my hopes for this are pretty high.
