Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
My.
Gawd.
I came...
Now I do.
Also, Arkham Asylum is a very strange book.
I peed a little.
If that game is bad, we should become an angry mob and rise against Rocksteady.
It looks so good X_X
Except the lip syncing, which looks terrible....
nice find BFeld
Hopefully it plays as good as it looks/sounds. (Except for Commissioner Gordon's generic tough guy voice)
I'm really skeptical about the gameplay, though. The melee action looks like it can satisfy, but the environments seem cramped for wire-related gadgets.
For a game that's supposed to come out in less than 2 months, I sure wish I could see more straight-gameplay and less video editing.
Oh god, that looks absolutely incredible, but my most favorite thing has to be the voice acting.
shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit I am so excited.
DO WANT RIGHT NOW.
I am picky about my combat, I really fucking hate floaty combat with spotty collision detection. The grapples looked cool, but the way the hits looked when they landed... kind of makes me a little cautious. I think a lot of developers would benefit from using an Assassin's Creed style of combat for 3rd person action games. It required timing and skill, plus the finishers were fucking amazing.
As a matter of fact... a Batman game using the Assassin's creed engine would be pretty awesome...
Sarcasm! *jazz hands*
I know there was a Dark Knight game in development that looked cool and got canned, but I'd rather have this game, which can stand on its own without the recent films.
Stealthing worries me a little, but it looks good.
