I found this kind of amusing.

I was perusing IGN when one of their random "Blog of the Day" posts caught my attention out of the corner of my eye. Apparently, some guy by the name of "therollingszeppelins" didn't like Jim Sterling's post last week about Ubisoft's upcoming lineup.

He goes on for quite a little while saying Destructoid was out of line for commenting the way it did, which basically means he doesn't like what Jim said, but whatever. We all know that Jim is a mad genius, so fuck him (therollingzeppelins, not Jim... okay, fuck Jim, too, but only in a sexy way), right?

He managed to take five quotes from Jim's original post (of nine sentences he himself wrote) and tried to say something relevant, which was really just him whining how people shouldn't pick on Ubisoft and the Wii or something.

He even went so far as claiming that, "Sales numbers flat out negate Destructoid's comments," in regards to how casual gamers don't buy software. This is a hard point to argue since Jim himself mentioned 360's attach rate in the article, but because this guy's personal friends that own Wiis own more games than he does, Jim and NPD sales figures are both wrong.

What a douche.

Yeah, exactly Reaprar. Exactly.
WOW. I missed that myself. Hahahaha.

Sadly, the guy's probably a community member here since he read the article. He just didn't have the balls to post a reply here 'cause he knew he'd get eaten alive, so instead he fled to IGN where no one even reads the blogs. How pathetic.
It's in club IGN so I think the guy paid to write a blog no one would read.
His blog header says it all.
Wow... What a retard.
One of the comments from that post:

"IGN is the only site I can really trust. Most other sites have obvious biases either for or against certain consoles. Like GameSpot has an obvious bias against Nintendo (MP3 review = EPIC FAIL)."

You've got to be kidding me.
@AlezRADL: I know, I saw that, too. A guy talking about company biases on a dude's blog whose header is Ubisoft's new PoP title as he rants about how people shouldn't pick on Ubisoft. Sigh.

I commented on the post (as spydrman5472... I stopped paying for my account like 3 years ago but it still let's me post comments and stuff... weird) and kept saying "Jim" and not "Destructoid" just to piss the guy off. Oh well.
I love stupid people sometimes.
I noticed Jim Sterling is listed as one of your friends.

THIS BLOG REEKS OF BIAS! F--!!!!!
It's IGN. It's like getting mad a bus filled with mentally challanged kids for throwing ice cream at your car at a red light. Let's just smile and go, "oh, you guys."
@Vexed Alex: That comment is filled to the brim with epicness! Perfectly said.
OMFG!Mr. Destructoid posted a lot of quotes, he must be one of us!
What's a Jim Stirling...is that like some new kinda diamond or silverware set or something boy I gots to get my Mom one of thsoe she loves taht kinda stuff!
People like therollingzeppelins remind me of mole people. They spend too much time getting worked up over what someone said on the internet, so they spend every waking hour plotting to get back at them with half-hearted blog entries no one will read except for the sad, pathetic souls such as rollingzeppelins who subscribe to IGN and only read IGN's content for its fair, unbiased yet EXCLUSIVE(LOL GTA IV GOT 10/10) reviews, instead of doing something productive like eat their vegetables or go out in the sun.

I love run-off sentences.
"...and I doubt that all of the Wii Guitar Hero 3 players are casual gamers."

yap those guys are pretty hardcore.
What the fuck is a Destructoid?
At least he has a semi original name. That's the only semi-positive statement I can make about him.

wat
Can't spell ignorant without IGN.
What I find most laughable is the fact this guy is a Nintendo Fanboy. Lets look at the facts.

1.He is defending CASUAL games on the Wii. Not so much as ubisoft. When he saw Jim bash casual wii games (the majority of them) he goes into defensive mode.

2.He bashes other sites for being to "bias" yet its easy to tell by the way he talks that he him self is bias twords nintendo products. This is easy to see by the example he used as gamespot hating the mp3 player from nintendo. Its obvious he is nothing more then a fanboy wanting some blog views.

3.He skews the writings of Jim to make up for his lack of information or real evidence. OMFG the girls you know have more games then you? OMFG WOW thats some real Matlock shit right there.

K I'm done.
AlexRADL, you're really going to defend gamespot? They are completely biased against Wii. Which probably isn't 100% accurate. I'm sure they'd write glowing reviews of every Wii game if Nintendo sent them a couple of money hats.
What's IGN?
Well played notdryad.
Hpv: I wasn't defending Gamespot. I was making fun of how ironic it was that he was complaining about the biasness(?) of other sites when he obviously has a bias towards Nintendo himself.
What were you doing at IGN?
@thetoiletduck: I've had an account there for years. I used to pay back in the day when I didn't know where else to get my news and didn't like waiting for magazines but I stopped paying for it a while back. They still let me access all the member stuff, though, which is odd to me.

Oh well, free shit is free shit. And in this case, specifically, it really is shit, haha.
