Hello there.
My name is Jack and I come from the up-side down world of Great Britain.
I have a passion for videogames and have been hooked ever since I got my hands on a Mega-drive when I was three. I have a number of interests for which I won't go into much detail, but for one thing is music. I don't have any specific tastes opting rather to go with 'whatever sounds good', but at the moment I am hugely into Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and The Beatles.
Oh dear what have they done this time?
I don't even know what to say, partially as I'm exhausted, but it's so weird.
It's so unusual for me to catch a game ad on TV and to see this it's just, frickin' stupid.
So many questions!
Why is there some lonely old man comenting on a videogame as if it's some it's some national endemic? Who the hell would be filming this man? Why is there so much bloody inuendo for a shooter? Is it supposed to be an impetus ad vehicle or is it a frickin' joke?
This man is treating it as it's some worldwide furore.
Yeah, I know it's supposed to be funny, but for some reason it's just enraged me to some bitter shell and I, for some reason, have to tell this.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Anyways, that ad blows.
I should also point out that the ad is a british variation. I believe.
It gets really awkward.
