Bought Zack and Wiki, Watched 2girls1cup, Lost Ability to Enjoy Life

So I bought Zack and Wiki from the advice of my fellow D-toiders, and enjoyed it earlier today. A great game. And then I saw a lady shit in a cup and eat it. Yeah, what a day...

So anyways I thought I had seen it all. I have seen decapitations, hangings, goatse, limbless torso's, etc, and I really had thought I had seen it all. Anything on a shock site just failed to get a reaction from me, whether it be Goatse or a person blown in half, I was simply devoid of emotion. Such is the internet, you need to be that way if you want to survive the internet. So when I saw 2girls1cup, I was very, very shocked. I mean, that was soooo disgusting. Watch it yourself if you don't believe me. I do have one thing to be thankful for about it though, which is, never, ever, think you have seen it all. Because when you think that, you get the biggest surprise of all.

On the topic of Zack and Wiki, it is a fun game. Sort of like a point and click adventure with awesome motion controls. I find it very addicting. Great graphics also.

I did indeed get closer to beating Mass Effect today too. What with buying a Wii and all it has been set on the back burner, but I am nearing the end. Give or take a few hours and i'll be done. Definitely be replaying that one.

For Metroid Prime 3, I simply have to say it is awesome. I love scanning everything. One day I will beat it, unlike Metroid Prime, where I have been one artifact away from the end for about 5 years. Super Mario Galaxy is also quite fun, but I was surprised to notice that I am enjoying my other Wii games alot more. (MP3 & Zack and Wiki)

And to leave on a sour note, I just noticed I got an email a week ago from Hamza, with a warning enclosed. Real late to get it, as I was just digging through my junk mail today. I suppose font size 99999 is a tad too large for a comment.

I've been pondering getting a Wii. Especially when they finally start arriving in mass #'s, on store shelves. But I think I still need heavy convincing. To put me over the edge on it though.

Considering the amount of cash thrown @ my PSTriples. I really don't even think want to think about spending any more. For another console @ this point. ( Thus, my gauged apprehension @ a Wii. Besides the "is it even worth it" question. )

The Wii has really been kicking in lately. During that huge dry patch, I was starting to get a little regret, but between Z&W, SMG, MP3, and all the obscure VC stuff rolling in these days, I love the Wii even more than my 360.

I would give me picking up a Wii an 8/10. I have 3 excellent games for Wii, Z&W, UR MR GAY, and MP3. There aren't many AAA titles for Wii, but it does good with what it has.

Initially I was underwhelmed by the Wii, but the motion controls really open up new gameplay options. If you have a couple hundred dollars to blow and really don't need to buy anything else/pay bills, then a Wii would be a good choice.

about me

First off is my highest honour -- my shit on the front page of Destructoid.

I was born back in the days of yore, when 3-D graphics were only a dream.

I like games.

Super Nintendo had to be one of the best consoles. Mario, Metroid, Link, Kirby, Donkey Kong and everyone else came to the party. Good times.

I own a Super Nintendo, N64, Gamecube, Wii, PS1, PS2, PSP, Xbox, Xbox 360, Gameboy Pocket, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, and a DS.

I regret missing some of the good old days, back in the early 90's, because I was too young to appreciate a good game when it smacked me in the face. Such is the folly of youth.

Somedays I wish I could have lived through such tumultuous times, what with the advent of Spandex tights and Rap, but then I think that it is much better to live longer and be younger than all of you people who did enjoy Super Metroid and Mario Kart in it's heyday and just be content with an emulator and a Xbox 360 controller.

Favorite Games: Mario series, Donkey Kong Country/64, Metroid series, Legend of Zelda series, Fable, Halo series, Shadow of the Colossus, GTA series, God of War 1 and 2, Morrowind, Oblivion, Tales of Symphonia, Final Fantasy X, Banjo Kazooie/Tooie and more that I can't recall.

Send me a friends request if you dare, just send a message telling me you're from Destructoid so I don't think you're a 63 year old pedophile masquerading as a teenage girl to lure gullible, young boys to your basement. Update: One year later

New games I would add to my favorites are Gears of Wars series, Fallout 3, Mass Effect, Bioshock (hey, I was playing it when I joined!), and other games I cannot recall. Some games I have loved for a long time but forgot to list over a year ago are Rome: Total War, the top Mario games, and the main Pokemon GB games. The rest escape me at this time.

So these days God no longer compels you to blog, Atlas is Fontaine, and generally speaking I am pretty well known around these parts. (I hope) I regret not joining Destructoid sooner, when I first had the chance with a link from Chad Concelmo's IGN blog. Even he was born in the primordial soup IGN was, or so it would seem. I no longer frequent there or other gaming sites except from time to time because Destructoid is hopefully my internet home from here on out. A great place to be, cheers to another year at Destructoid!

Update: Another year later

Okay, so year three isn't going that great. I haven't blogged for six months and have barely visited the site. In fact, it is nearly November and my 3 years happened almost 2 months ago in early September. Damn life, going outside into the real world is time consuming! I haven't even turned on a videogame since April... (until just recently!) But of course I haven't forgotten about Dtoid; THE GREATEST SITE ON THE WEB! Sorry Dtoid, I will try to live less and Dtoid more.
