Tales of Symphonia 2 trailer

The trailer is in Japanese, but you don't really need to know what they're saying. It looks pretty good, and like other Tales of games. I really enjoyed the first and looking forward to the sequel. The trailer shows the main characters that have been shown before (the blond boy and girl), also it looks like monsters can fight on you side or something. The best part comes at the end where our favorite red wearing, dual-sword bearing hero shows up. Now all we need is a release date.

They'd best bring summons back. I was rather unhappy that they were absent in Legendia.

I never played that one. I heard it wasn't that good, I enjoyed Abyss though.

Awesome. I totally got chills when they show Lloyd.

The characters and story were way better than Abyss. Abyss's fighting mechanics gave it a little edge in that department, aside from the fonon field exploits. Definitely watching for this one.

I loved the first symphonia, so also long as they don't mess with it to much this should be great, I'm also looking forward to the new DS Tales game, Tales of Innocence.

Symphonia is the only "Tales of" game that I have played and I have to say I enjoyed the hell out of it. However, I never picked up Lengendia/Abyss due to poor-mediocre reviews.

Hopefully Symphonia 2 will live up to its predecessor.

Tales of the Abyss isn't too bad, really. It looks really dated, but if you enjoyed the combat from Symphonia, then you might enjoy it.
Legendia's combat is like the previous combat system that exist on a single plane of action (unlike Symphonia). Also, the music and characters were really really flat, you couldn't do any multiplayer AT ALL, and it peed in the sink and puked everywhere during my Christmas party.
As long as this game has multiplayer and this revised combat system, I'm probably going to enjoy it.
