Eye of Judgement cards for free
Arugala9 | 6:53 PM on 10.25.2007 6 comments

So apparently you can copy the cards and use them without having to pay for them. Mike Fahey over at Kotaku has tried it and confirms it works. All you need is the internet and a printer. This seems like a major breach in the game if all you need to do is find pictures of them on the internet or borrow them from a friend. You think they would have had something to prevent this.

Good. The game is a stupid idea anyways. Why should you have to pay for cards on top of the game? Should've just made them possible to earn in game like Culdecept Saga. COMING TO A 360 SOON. BUY IT BISHES.

Well, I recall at PAX that they have something with the actual cards to increase security against this, a similar innovation with checks and dollar bills.

So, apparently they do have measures against this, and while they won't stop card copying completely, at least it will work as a deterrent. Besides, you ruin all the fun in the game if you cheat.

This doesn't change anything as far as online play goes anyway, because you are always going to play against people with better cards than you. The ones with the deepest pockets win. It only means you don't have to pay for your cards now, you just have to be really sly against online opponents.

@Wedge, you call eye of judgement a stupid idea yet you go on to call another game of the same type good? Who the hell do you think you are commenting with?

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
