Metal Gear Solid: Rising is atop my list of anticipated titles. I realize I'm being irrational in that it truly shouldn't be as we know nothing about it, but I'm a Raiden fan, and always have been.
If this game plays like I think it will it's going to be fucking incredible, and will easily kick serious ass.

I believe I saw on the conference live blog that MGSR is still Metal Gear stealth action. I am hoping for some crazy raiden abilities, but I'm more relieved to find that it's still keeping the core gameplay that I love.
I've waited like 24 hours before publishing this because I've been scouring the internet for video of gameplay! The Castlevania trailer is all over the internet, but I couldn't find anything other than Monday's short glimpse...
Honestly, if we're controlling a character in a cyborg ninja suit, I'd be upset if it were anything less impressive than what we saw in MGS4. There was absolutely nothing subdued about Gray Fox, Olga, or Raiden in MGS1, 2, and 4... so I'd be disappointed if they decided to start now.
I love the original gameplay, and I believe that MGS:R would be great with some ninja-styled sneaking, but c'mon! This is essentially a game about a cyborg ninja!

All of your blogs/comments have me constantly stoked. There are too few fellow action-whores out there, so it's incredibly refreshing reading your thoughts. Regarding MGS:R, I'm 100% confident Kojima will give us an enjoyable experience, even if "lightning bolt action" does not equate to tactical espionage gameplay.
That said, Bayonetta is my next "must have", followed by Metal Gear Solid: Raiden and Castlevania Kojima.
Try this on for size: I f'ing loved Castlevania Curse of Darkness. Imagine how mind blowing Lords of Shadow will be for me ;-D

Oh man, I completely missed out on CV:CoD, but since the announcement of Lords of Shadow, I've been looking at all of those older titles and I'm dying to pick them up! And you're right, it's awesome seeing other action-fanatics that can appreciate the finer points of the genre.
As for MGS:R, regardless of whatever level of action they infuse into the series, it's definitely a guaranteed success. This year's E3 really turned out to be satisfying with so many triple-A action titles!
