Yeah, my first blog was about the first Mass Effect book. If you enjoy the series both books are good The first (ME:Revelation)is a prequel and the second (ME:Ascension) takes place after the first game, though it only mentions Shephard in passing. Check 'em out if you haven't read them.
Don't let my Most Anticipated 360 Games of 2009 article fool you, the only reason this game wasn't on it was because I was pretty sure it wasn't going to make the cut for 09. I'm pretty stoekd about this game as well.

Yeah, Mass Effect is one of my favorite games on the 360, it was my absolute favorite until Left 4 Dead and Lost Odyssey came out.
I can't wait for ME2...no seriously, I can't wait. I'm getting the shakes just thinking of it.
I wish it wasn't s far away:( I love Mass Effect! The first book was awesome too, second was alright.
I remember my wife being pissed off at me when Mass Effect came out. I played that game for hours until I beat it and then played it again until I maxed out. The only gripe was that vehicle, they need to fix the controls for it!

I've played through with 4 different characters just because of Bioware's promises of the choices from the first game affecting the second game.
I hope they re-implement the squad command mechanic they had in early versions of the first game.

Teamxbox reported that an EA rep confirmed to them a Xbox 360 and PC version, but would not confirm a PS3 version.

I loved Mass Effect. I played through it in one weekend without really taking a break when I had the flu. It was the best flu of my life.

Yeah, technically the last ME was multiplat too so announcing this one as such doesn't say too much. I remember a few weeks ago someone on 1up yours insisting that ME2 would still be published by MS, I guess we'll see.
