The internet does a lot of good things for me. It brings me Destructoid every day, it keeps me abreast of what's happening in the world, all in all it's done a great job of keeping me content and unproductive. Then the internet really went above and beyond itself and decided I should win a drawing.

As you may know Final Fantasy 13 comes out in two weeks and Square Enix is holding a launch party the day before in San Francisco. To celebrate they had a drawing to invite 250 members of their website to come to the event, 200 of which would attend the daytime "FF13 Experience" and 50 to attend the VIP Launch Party that night. It was easy enough to enter the drawing (log in to your account and say something nice about FF13 on this form) so I gave it a shot and sure enough myself and a guest get to attend the 10am FF13 Experience! I'm not sure what it entails, probably a lot of playing the first area of the game for 12 minutes and awkwardly standing in a corner for another hour but nonetheless I'm excited. I'm hoping that I'll see some of the local industry people their like Dtoid, 1up, and Giant Bomb, but I'm guessing that they'd be invited to the fancy shmancy VIP party.

I'm still figuring out who I should take. All the friends I'd want to go with have no interest in Final Fantasy and all the people I know who are interested in Final Fantasy, I wouldn't want to spend the afternoon with. It's a pair-a-diggem

Has anyone been to one of these before? What can I expect? I'm guessing a free copy of the game may be out of the question.
