From Neo Geo to Wii they got em all. Personal favorite is probably the PS2. Least Favorite is the PS3. The first time I turned my PS3 on and heard the sound of an orchestra warming up, it just seemed confirm my perception of Sony's arrogance at the beginning of this generation. Special mention for most annoying start up screen goes to Nintendo, seeing those damn health and safety warning screens every time I start up my DS and Wii will no doubt lead to my inevitable psychotic break and puppy killing spree.

The sega saturn one brought a chill to my spine.

Also, the Dreamcast one was easily the best. The PS2 one INFURIATES me to no end after 3 dead consoles.

the one that comes closest to bringing a chill to my spine funny enough is from a console i never owned - the PS1. that said, i kinda like the balls of the PS3 one.

I loved the original Xbox one. I wish that load up would play when you insert an original Xbox game into the 360.

They should've shown the alternate GameCube one, even though it only sounded different.

I really like the Dreamcast and the Sega Saturn one. Also the original Xbox one was pretty awesome.

I wish the Wii had a better one though. Hell the Gamecube one was pretty awesome as well.

The Dreamcast and Gamecube ones warm my heart, they build up nicely to the hopefully awesome game you're going to play...

I hated the PS1 start up though. I thought it felt so ominous and foreboding.

How long was the 3DO start up?! Christ there's enough time before it boots up to take a dump and make a cuppa tea. Also what's with the spinning Jaguar cube?!

Oh, man. That Saturn startup takes me back. I used to think that was so awesome how all the squares came together. Looking at it now maybe I shouldn't have been eating so many paint chips.

The first time I fired up the original XBox I was like wow, that was cool, then 10 minutes later when I had to reset it I was like FU just start already so i can has fun.

At least the intro screens have gotten better over time, except when Nintendo even pussified themselves and started showing the health warnings.

But don't hurt the puppies for that.
