Gamer "JackTheWhack" had racked up over 120 thousand gamer points and was the highest ranked in New Jersey... According to the article in the link Microsoft was even going to have a feature on him, until they freaked out and completely wiped out his achievements to 0, and labelled him "cheater". Apparantly he sold his 360 after it happened...
So Microsoft is paranoid now? Likes punishing loyal fans to an extent at which the fan is alienated?
Just.... there are no words.
Oh, whaddayano, it's my first c-blog post. Hi...?
[EDIT]Something to show that it's likely true http://xboxamerica.com/profiles/1978/JackTheWhack
All those games and 35 points? sure. And his last activity was over a month ago, so he probably did sell it.
"Under what circumstances does LIVE correct a specific gamerscore?
Specific and automated criteria are used to determine if a player has earned achievements by using tools that circumvent the game or avoid game play entirely. A player who meets these criteria has their gamerscore corrected."

He is a lier. His gamerscore before his points were wiped was 9251. He only has played a whopping 32 games. Also if you read MS's policy on gamerscore cheaters you would see that you cannot regain achievements that you've already earned before you were labeled a cheater, so his story about getting a mirror's edge achievement he had prevously gotten is made up as well. And from what I've read he was never interviewed for gamer spotlight. This is all a made up story in order to promote his amazon store.
My BS Detector went off when the linked article mentioned he was supposed to have been interviewed "last Thursday".
