About Me
Good day sir/madam and welcome to the world of someone who calls himself Anus Mcphanus. In the real world I go by the name of Dan.

The name Anus Mcphanus comes from back in school in 6th form. We had a TV in our common room and I used to bring in my N64 to play games during our lunch breaks. Being in a public (or private to you yanks) school meant that we couldn't shout out obscene profanities so openly and so we made up words/names we could say and not get in any trouble. Eventually these words became associated with a certain person and I became known as Anus Mcphanus which meant arsehole. I thought the name was quite hilarious and so I kept the name and use it as my online and gamer name from then onwards.

In my free time I enjoy being Welsh, taking long walks down the beach and punching small children in the face.
My life is rather dull and uninspiring.
I apparently like to drop my trousers. A lot.
I can't sing but often kid myself into thinking I can.
I do not like things up my butt. Except penis.

This is my sorry arse

Tatsunoko Vs Capcom to actually come out outside of Japan?
Anus Mcphanus | 10:07 AM on 07.11.2008 14 comments

It seems that the game that nobody thought would make it outside of Japan may be doing just that as some of you lucky US residents will have a chance to try the game out for yourselves. Tatsunoko Vs Capcom is going on tour in the USA!

It seems the EVO World Finals in Las Vegas, NV (August 8-10th) will be an official location test for the game that everyone is talking about besides Street Fighter 4 or Mega Man 9. That's right this is a location test so chances of the game coming out in at least the US (and Japan of course) are very real.

But wait as there's more... if you look at the quote at the bottom of the post it says:
"We’re working on more ways for US players to try it out as well, so stay tuned!"

Now with E3 kinda happening now, where else could Capcom show off this game to US players?... PAX perhaps? or maybe even E for all?... Well it's a possibility right? Doesn't matter to me though since I'm not going due to me being poor :-(
Either way it's awesome to see Capcom actually trying to bring this game out overseas. The fact that they are even doing these location tests bodes well for an eventual home console release further down the line in at least the US since arcades are all but dead outside of Japan and Capcom wouldn't waste their time doing location tests for a game that was bound for just the arcades no? So long as the feedback from these tests are positive I see no reason why Capcom wouldn't push even harder for the console version to be made available in the US and hopefully Europe... Well I for one am praying the game makes it out of the land of the rising sun soon! it's just a shame they couldn't do a location test in London.

....this doesn't help half of us in america. Unless Capcom and Tatsunoko fund half of the US to hit up Evo this year.

I'll just stick to importing unless someone gives me money to head out to LA.

Surely the fact that Capcom are doing these location tests suggests that a home console release outside of Japan is on the way since it would be pointless to release the game in the arcades in anywhere but Japan? That is if the feedback from the location tests are positive which I'm sure they will be.

great news! I'd import this anyway for my PS3 if I had to... but I really hope they release it here on the home consoles!

This game is now at the top of my most anticipated. I'd resent Capcom for a while if they didn't release this here.

And why is this game a must buy? I haven't heard of half the roster.
