Let's face it, out of all the long and repetitive Pokémon games, Gold and Silver are still the best. They represent a real sequel that actually remembers the world you just ran through in Red and Blue instead of focusing on just one area. But now that Nintendo has decided to cash in with a remake of everyone's favorite poaching simulator, what are they adding that makes me really want to buy this game again?
The answer is a smorgasbord of those lovable little legendary critters. Remember how much like a pimp you felt when you caught that sparkling' red Gyarados? Well now you can feel that way all over again. Also included are Lugia and Ho-Oh from the originals, which you can expect to find at the ripe level of 45.
Now to push this game in to further stardom, you can also get your greedy mitts all over the 3 legendary dogs featured in the original, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, and Jirachi from the 3rd generation, and Palkia, Dialga, Giratina, and Arceus from the 4th.
Whew! Now that's either a lot of gibberish or a lot of awesomeness. You decide for yourself and head on over to the official
Japanese website for more pictures and information. The game is set to release in Japan on September 12th this year.

Mewtwo and the latias confirmed as well.
If I need SG/SS to catch 'em, I'll probably buy this game new. If not, then I'll wait to get it used.
I'm totally psyched to complete my Pokedex. I'm geeky like that.
That was so fucking amazing the first time around, being able to revisit all those places from R/B and kick the gym leaders' asses again.
G/S/C = 100 Hours. And I sold it.
D/P/Plt = 400+ Hours.
Well if he's present, why wouldn't he be catchable?
This could mean that Johto might actually be the entire world instead of the rather gimped we got in G/S/C.
im that bad of a nerd.
