I have written an article about how David Hayter could save videogame movies. You can read it at the link I just put in the blog in the previous sentence on this web site blog.

So as to prevent this post from being a complete waste of your time, I have included pictures Davis and I took at a crazy-ass Japanese photo machine recently installed at our local arcade.

At first I was like: Lost Planet WTF? Then this:

"Hayter's decision to make Lost Planet his first video game adaptation is remarkably shrewd: The game is visually spectacular (imagine Godzilla-sized bugs hanging out on a planet made entirely of snow), but so narratively weak that Hayter's story literally has nowhere to go but up."

Makes perfect sense. I wonder if he will include Wayne (the protagonist), or just change the fuck out of everything.
