As I remember, this was a common issue in my middle school basketball days
So I tried to write a witty questions post, but the above picture has made it impossible for me to think straight... so I'll keep it simple: Another bi-week (is that even a word?), another Animucast! Possible topics for tonights show include:
-Why I love Chu-bra and no one else does!
-Why I love Ladies vs Butlers and no one else does!
-Why Stella loves sports anime and no one else does!
...I'm sensing a theme here
ACTUAL possible topics include the above as well as the upcoming Spring season (HARGLE GARBLE K-ON 2), news from Yashoki the plump mexican news girl, and the
best manga of all time. Seriously, check it out. Though I will warn you that it is highly NSFW... but so is everything I adore.
Anyway, it wouldn't be Animucast without questions and comments from our glorious listeners, so go ahead and post them here. MAKE US PROUD! And while you're at it, check out the always excellent Chartfag's
chart of upcoming anime and clue us in on what you think looks good and what you'll be watching.
Bi-week sounds like something a liberal arts college would do.
I've only read Hajime no Ippo and Eyeshield 21 as far as sports manga go but they're both amazing.
Everytime I was too sick to get out of bed as a child, I watch either the He-Man or one of the Lucky Luke movies. Nowadays I always go back and rewatch my 3x3 Eyes DVDs. Is there any anime series you watch, when you are sick?
Also, what the heck is up with the anime world being populated by spineless characters doing things that they don't want to do while loudly complaining that they don't want to do what they're doing and shouting about how they have to anyway because IT'S THEIR DESTINYYYY and they have NO CHOICE DERP DERP. This makes no sense to me, and it seems to happen way too often. It seems like if I were that character I'd be all "Dude this sucks, I ain't faitan no more peace out." It' a cop-out and is used as the motivation for lots of fight scenes (and other stuff). Your thoughts?
Sorry to be negative, I still love animus.
I've had a hard time dealing with his death today, so I'd like to ask: what was your favorite song of his?
My actual question is this: If I asked you guys to suffer through the new Ikkitousen with me, for hilarity, would you be down? Or would that just be too horrible? I'm not sure it would be as funny as the original without being dubbed.
