Is it sad that I want one so bad? Is it sad that it's one of the minor reasons I'm bummed I couldn't make it to PAX? (Main reason was seeing everyone of course. :))

I hope it's not. No, I KNOW IT'S NOT. Because I want Fallout 3 SO bad and my god it looks phenomenal! I'm seriously counting down the days for that and Left 4 Dead.

Can it come soon enough? No, most definitely not.

I wish I could get one of these little guys, though it seems my only option is Ebay. Which isn't going to happen cause I don't feel comfortable paying 100 bucks for a hand puppet. :P

I hope you all had fun at PAX, I wish I could of been there. Next year will happen for me I hope (I'll do my best to make it happen.) Though I hope there can be a massive gathering of some sort BEFORE PAX 09.

It's already been way too long and I need my fixxxxxxxxxesssssssss.

So, I finally got a GOOD PC, amazing eh? Only problem is that it's giving me some problems. Therefore, I have a few questions. Sure, I know quite a bit of things about computer work, BUT, there are still a few things I need to learn.

Here I was, partitioning my HD and getting ready to install Win XP Pro. It was then that I noticed something weird happened, the screen started becoming distorted and all of the text was broken on the screen. I was not too happy to see this but I figured it could be some weird occurrence, so I shook it off. Fast forward to XP being completely installed and me downloading programs and installing games. It didn't take long until my PC froze again (except for my mouse) and the screen looked distorted / broken. Almost like someone spotted the screen with random white lines in numerous parts of the screen. I realized this would also occur when I GENTLY tap my case, the screen flips out and then it freezes.

I'm pretty frustrated considering I paid for this computer and it's something I've wanted, for a REALLY long time. I was able to play TF2 on it for a bit and it was SO fast and it looked SO good! Then TF2 crashed due to that popular memory error that still lingers.

I'm not sure what the problem is. I thought it was the video card considering the screen flips out, but it DOES function. I also thought it COULD be my motherboard? I'm not too sure. Considering I've never had a problem like this before. It's just weird that it randomly happens, but it ALSO happens if the case it barely tapped. Which makes me think it COULD be the motherboard?

I've booted the PC in safe mode and the problem still existed. I also opened the case and made sure the card was in the slot all the way and made sure no wires were loose or anything.

I'm not sure what it could be and honestly I want to get it fixed ASAP cause I'm SO excited to finally have a NEW PC. I have a few friends that could help out but they're usually busy majority of the time. On top of that I work from 10 - 10 Monday through Friday, so I'm hardly ever home. I just hope I can get this beast up and running sooner than later.

One thing is for sure though. I don't think I'm ever ordering from CyberPower PC again, first order and a not so good experience. :(

You have no idea how amazing it feels to actually say "I've been pretty busy / real busy" as of late. For the longest time I was having problems finding a decent job but I finally got it. It certainly took long enough but it was definitely worth the wait. Since I haven't typed a C-Blog up in awhile, I figured I would take the time to do so before I went to bed.

Yes, this IS game related. Well, and not.



I want Pixel Junk Eden, pretty bad. I've realized I'm slowly getting addicted to the demo and I want the full version ASAP. I figured I would love it after loving Monsters so much. But it certainly feels good to get that amazingly wonderful reassurance. If you have a PS3 and haven't checked it out yet, do it. Just do it now. It's so simple yet so entertaining, it's hard to not love.



Tomorrow is Soul Calibur IV day and I'm excited. I didn't like III too much, so I'm really hoping that IV fixes everything I didn't like about III. I'm sure it well and on top of that it looks extremely pretty. Well and videos don't do justice so I can only imagine how much better it will actually look when you're playing it. It feels good to be excited about a GOOD looking fighter that's releasing, it's been awhile.



Also, Fallout 3. Wow. I can't even say much about it other than that. I didn't think I'd be looking forward to a game as much as Left 4 Dead and that all changed when I actually saw Fallout 3 video. It looks absolutely incredible and honestly, I'm counting down the months, weeks and days till its release. :)

God, the end of this year is going to be stupid good in terms of video game releases. It's almost going to be TOO good.

Also, under all of this good news, there is some bad news.

I won't be attending PAX this year. It really does suck and I was looking forward to going more than anything else. Especially since last year's ended up being one of the best weekends I had in awhile and I know I wasn't the only one that felt that way. This year is going to be 3, if not 5, times better than the last. Hell, maybe even more. But due to my new job (asking for time off is unquestionable) well and finances, it can't happen.

Blame the economy, blame my job. One thing is for sure, I know it's still a bit early but I want all of you to have an amazing time and to take as many pictures / videos as possible. If I can't go, I at least want to see as much footage as I possibly can. :)

But, I've always seen people play it and honestly, I've always wanted to play it. Much like Fallout, which I also have never played.

But with Fallout 3 coming out soon I figured I might as well just wait and make that one my first cause it looks absolutely incredible.

I feel the same way about Diablo III. The game looks incredible, and I already want to play it ASAP. I WANT!

I just felt like taking the time to say, I love you Valve. Of course, I don't love you as much as I love Destructoid. But, hey, it's pretty damn close.

Well.. Kinda.

It's so hard to love them sometimes and it's understandable, thanks to all of the push backs we've put up with frequently. But in the end, we all know it's absolutely worth it. On top of that how can you not admire the fact that they update their games regularly?



Team Fortress 2 has been updated on a semi-regular basis and it's cool as hell knowing they didn't have to do that in the first place. People would still be playing TF2 even if there were no class updates, so it's cool that they decided it would be a good idea. Plus, I don't know about you other TF2 fans but I'm definitely looking forward to every individual class update. I mean it's probably the closest thing to a mini Christmas that comes just in time, everytime.



I'm still counting down the days until Left 4 Dead. I don't think I've looked forward to a game this much since Team Fortress 2. Hell, I look forward to this game MORE than I did TF2. This looks like it WILL be the BEST zombie experience yet and I KNOW it will be which is why I want it more than Wilford Brimley wants his Liberty Medical testing supplies.



It's been awhile since I posted a blog, so I felt the need to post about SOMETHING and L4D is all that has been on my mind for awhile now. Scratch that, so has Castle Crashers and that needs to come out NAOW!

I wish I could go into some sort of a coma and come out of it early November. That would be amazing.

Either way, thanks for the dirty undies Valve. You've ruined plenty of them. I can only imagine how many more will be ruined as November comes closer.
